I’m suddenly craving a trip to the aquarium with a cute kid. I love the jelly fish photos – as long as they are in photos, they look magical. If I saw them while I was in the water – not so magical.
Katie – it’s funny, I remember wading through those type of jellyfish when I was a kid (in Washington). I don’t remember them stinging. Or maybe I had some of that impervious kid thing going on.
Darcy – some of my best beach memories are cloudy days!
Phoenix – Welcome back! (Everyone, this is the Phoenix. He rocks!) I would love to see you write a weird science/supernatural post on jellyfish.
Anybody else old enough and into local fishing enough to remember Jack DeBord? Jack lived around the Clermont area back in the late 80’s (or at least his boat did) and hosted a local fishing show called “Midwst Angler”. Jack fished local waters and the film was shot “as is”, meaning if Jack got his ass kicked by the bass that day you ended up watching a lot of casting footage (LOL). I remember shows from Glenn Flint and other local waters.
frfff

YES!
grey days = great days!
Weird. My comment disappeared!
Anyway…I’m fascinated by jellyfish. Scientists still don’t really understand them.
