It was beautiful. We had the pumpkins carved
and the fog machine up, fun lighting (not too scary for the little ones), and plenty of candy. Then me and the kid donned our outfits and cruised the streets, chatting with the neighbors. Since it’s a pretty small neighborhood (only four streets) we really only get the neighbor kids, about 30-40 max. But we’re lucky to live in a place where people get into the holiday spirit and like to decorate, so it’s always fun even if we don’t get that many kids.

It rained here in St. Louis, so we went to the mall. Us and everyone else in Missouri apparently had the same idea!
I brought treats to my brother’s family and took my nephew out to scare more from his neighbors in his dracula costume.
